How We Work with You

Andrea and Karen are experienced counselors who work without the layers of junior staff that often add more expense than value in large firms.  One or both of us will remain with you throughout the assignment.

In beginning any client relationship, we follow several basic steps:

We ask you to share information. Lots of it. We can't do the job without a full understanding of your organization and its issues.

Then we ask questions. Lots of them. We'll talk with you about concerns. With you, we'll define (and perhaps redefine) the communications need.
 
Next we develop strategies and solutions that will work within your budget. To determine how to staff your account, we'll need to know:

♦  Is this a project of fairly short or long duration?
♦  Do you need us on call by phone/e-mail
daily, as an extension of your staff?
♦  If you are in the greater New York metropolitan area, would it be useful to have one or both of us
    on-site to work on a specific task, or to fill in?
♦  Do we need to bring on board additional colleagues with specialized skills?

Based on this discussion and additional research, we will create a proposal that will outline strategy, key initiatives, measurement criteria and how we will support you, including staffing and structure of the relationship -- retainer or project.
 
If we determine that additional expertise is required to help you achieve your goals, we'll identify and bring on the best and brightest communicators we know, creating a customized team of All-Star designated hitters (and pitchers) to meet your specific needs. 

Our "virtual" combinations of staff bring you the best counsel and service without the higher costs (and often prohibitively large minimum monthly retainers) associated with larger firms.
